Learner GPT

Cora is a full featured learner GPT, like ChatGPT, which surfaces real time answers to questions, situations, and research.

You can enable Cora for use for your learners. When enabled they will be able to ask Cora for guidance in real time about situations, questions, and research. This means instead of learners wasting valuable time chasing down an answer, rereading the policies, or possibly giving a wrong answer - they can get accurate real time guidance and waste no time.

The answers are sourced from one of two places:

  • documents and policies you have provided to Cora

  • or, Affinity pre-built training materials

Cora does not source answers from other areas - it is only using reputable information you provide or give it access to. This ensure the answers are always relevant.

Additionally, answers from Cora come with a citation to the documents it used to source it's answer. And learners can click on this citation to take them directly to the provided documentation.

Enabling Cora - Learner GPT

To enable Cora for your organization, you will need to click on the "Cora" link in your side panel navigation.

From there, you will see the list of settings to enable or disable different features of Cora according to your subscription plan.

Resource Enablement

Under the resources subsection, you can toggle on or off either of your document resources or Affinity resources.

After you change these settings, it usually takes between 1 and 10 minutes for the changes to take effect. If you do not enable either, Cora will be mostly nonfunctional. We encourage you to enable both and provide your own resources to increase Cora's intelligence for your company.

Access & Availability

  • Enable Cora in Slack: This will allow learners to ask Cora questions through your Slack integration.

  • Enable Cora in the Affinity app: This will allow learners to ask Cora questions from their Learner dashboard in the Affinity app.

Providing Document Resources

You can add and control custom documents which Cora has access to. This includes any training generated content you make in the Affinity content authoring platform.

To add a new document, click Add Document and upload it into Cora's system for your organization.

Once uploaded, you can then toggle the enablement as well as delete it if you choose. Disabling or deleting the document will remove it from the Cora system within 1 to 10 minutes.

There is no limit to the number of documents you can provide. Generally we recommend you upload:

  • All your policies

  • All your handbooks

  • Any FAQ's you have produced

  • Marketing Guidelines

  • Sales Enablement Guideliness

  • Customer Service Workflow Documentation

  • Information Security specific policies

  • Human Resource handbooks

Of course, you can add whatever you see fit.

Another note about documents is that Cora - and AI systems in general - tend to work better with documents which meet a minimum length. In our experience this is about 2-3 paragraphs. We suggest avoiding documentation which is strictly a 1-sentence fact or similar.

Radar Dashboard and Learner GPT

We mentioned that some details of learner interactions with Cora are available in the Radar Dashboard. What is included here is a summary of the topics learners are chatting about as well as raw chat logs which you can look up for any learner.
