# External Admin External admin's will be the administrators of an organization's portfolio companies. A portfolio company is a company of which you are accountable for the training success. An example might be you are a large Banking as a Service provider and have 50 clients who use your product and must be trained across various regulations. You are accountable for these 50 clients and their employees to complete the required training. As an external admin, you will manage the trainings that are assigned to these portfolio companies.
